It is soft but thick and short. Sheepskin seems to be a nice soft pelt but it is MUCH SMALLER than the advertised 2x4'. The longest length measured 32-33", which is LESS THAN 3 feet (3 feet = 36 inches). This is supposed to be a 4 foot rug, which is 48 inches in length. I would understand if it was a couple inches shorter, due to the nature of pelts and production. But I clearly received another item which would better be described as a 2x3' size, not a 2x4' size. Additionally, the widest part of the rug I received was only 1.5 feet, so the measurements in the product description are extremely generous.

I have a dark grey that I bought from Sierra quite a few years ago to cover my leather chair. It's still in great shape and has been cleaned twice, but I wanted a light colored one to use during the summer. The ivory is beautiful-thick and plush and well put together. I know I'll have this one for many years to come as well. Quality skins at a fantastic price!
