Average Rating:
4.3 out of 5 stars.
If you happen to pick up a pair of Born shoes and examine them closely, you’ll immediately notice something different. For more than 20 years, Born has been dedicated to using only the absolute best quality leathers, the finest finishes and old-world, handsewn craftsmanship. Stitched by hand, Born boots, shoes and sandals are made so that the upper, insole and outsole are all sewn together in a single process known as Opanka construction. This careful crafting technique produces footwear that is supple, flexible, lightweight and remarkably comfortable. In a day and age when handmade craftsmanship is slowly becoming a lost art, Born footwear continues to raise the bar with every new collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Cozy & ComfyReviewed by Tsaddi from OKLAHOMA on Wednesday, November 13, 2024I personally really like these slippers for the fact that they are lined with real sheep wool which keeps your feet at a comfortable temperature and keeps them from smelling as opposed to synthetic liners that cause feet to sweat and stink. They have plenty of cushion. My only complaint is mine makes a little bit of a squeaky sound when I walk. I highly recommend them for the quality materials and comfort for a great price! I would want to own them for longer to know if they are worth a 5 star, we'll see how they hold up over time.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Overall hugeReviewed by gardenqueen from Lafayette, CO on Thursday, October 31, 2024These seem to be good quality but I agree with others the sizing is WAY off. I typically wear a women's 8.5 but these are easily at least half an inch too long, and very wide. I'm going to keep them because they don't have a smaller size at this point to trade out. I'll only be able to wear them with a thick sock though. Disappointing...

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for my purpose; ya, sizing is oddReviewed by VTgal from SLC, UT on Monday, October 28, 2024I wanted a real-wool, shearling-lined slipper that is easy to get in and out of. This meets that request. The shearling wool is stringier (not plush) than I'd prefer, but it's real wool. The sizing is odd. Another site has this as a men's clog, and that may be the case. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 8, Euro 41. I am usually a women's 8.5 Wide (rare to find), Men's 7, or Boy's 6. I find the Euro sizes the most reliable -- I'm a 38 Wide, or 39. In this, the size 8 / 41 is a little large for me, but not much. So, the sizing is huge for women's sizing but small for mens/ Euro. Just weird. If you can figure out a size that fits you, I'd recommend.
