Quilting is a type of fabric construction in which a layer of down or synthetic is placed between two layers of fabric, and held in place by stitching or sealing in a regular, consistent pattern such as squares or tubes. By holding insulation in place, quilting reduces cold spots and drafts.

Qwik-Dri® EC2® technology is used in moisture-wicking apparel featuring an electrostatic method of drawing perspiration away so the wearer does not become cold.
