At a size 8.5/9 wide, I opted for the 9 here. While I wouldn't mind the boot to be a little wider, the generous toe box allows for enough movement, and a thicker sock. The bottom grip is top-notch and by far the most impressive part. I upgraded to an Oboz insole, which fits almost perfectly. With continued care, this boot should last for years to come.
