4.0 out of 5 stars. True to sizeReviewed by Hiker from California on Monday, October 7, 2024I have worn these shoes for several days and so far they are fitting well, provide good support and I have had no problems with blisters. I wear a 9.5 and they fit me well. They are light in weight. The only drawback thus far is that they squeak a bit when I walk.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Wearing down after 3 monthsReviewed by BetsyMtHood from Oregon on Wednesday, August 7, 2024I have owned several pairs of Merrell shoes and these are not meeting my expectations.
The pros: the upper is NOT mesh so it keeps alot of sand and debris out of the shoes; when new (3 1/2 months ago) the soles were super cushy and soft; they look good. I wear a wide width and when I first tried these on, the toe box was more narrow than my old Moab hiking shoes in the same size and width; they did stretch out.
The cons: I started seeing wear hole in the uppers after 2 months. By 3 months, the outer soles started wearing down and delamming. The upper heal is losing it's shape and squishes down when putting the shoes on. And the cushy soles are now hard and flat so you feel everything you step on; my feet were hurting for the last mile of an 8-mile hike today.
I am not giving up on Merrell, and I hope my next shoes are better.
