Most Helpful 1-Star Review

1.0 out of 5 stars. Stick to eyewear Oakley.

Long time cyclist and wearer of multiple brands of high end helmet here.

I had high hopes for Oakley’s Mark II helmets and I left disappointed yet again.

Poorly designed vents. The way the vents are laid out and foam are carved out doesn’t make sense. This helmet runs hot!

Straps are way too short and doesn’t clear my ears. This is a known problem internally at Oakley and they just sold through the inventory without even a public acknowledgement or recall.

Eyewear storage grippers doesn’t actually grip eyewear stems. I tried on at least 4 of the most popular Oakley sunglasses too! Can you believe it?! An eyewear company making helmets that don’t securely store their eyewear. Can’t make this one up.

About Oakley

Jim Jannard founded Oakley with a $300 budget and the belief that “everything in the world can and will be made better.” In the nearly 40 years since the company introduced a groundbreaking motorcycle handgrip, the brand has evolved into a cutting-edge optics designer bent on challenging conventional ideas and has reinvented the way we see sunglasses. Oakley sunglasses first grabbed the world’s attention with the release of Eyeshades® and the company hasn’t looked back. With the guiding principal that Oakley products are “inventions wrapped in art,” the brand has since expanded its offerings to include Oakley jackets and ski pants. Today, the brand continues to set a standard for excellence that is embraced by athletes all over the globe.
