"Sanuk" is the Thai word for happiness. Not only is "happiness" Sanuk's company name, but it speaks about their approach to business and life. Jeff Kelley created the company in 1999, when he started making recycled sandals out of inner tubes and indoor/outdoor carpet. The small company has been steadily growing ever since, making fun and fashionable Sanuk sandals and shoes. Sanuk's collection of sandals was designed with the global surf and watersport community in mind. While these sandals and flip-flops have fun designs and wild colors, they are also technically sound. Sanuk strives to integrate comfort, durability and uniqueness into every pair of shoes and sandals they manufacture... so you'll always wear happiness when you wear Sanuk.

Sized too small, Sierra is difficult with returnsReviewed by Expecting what you bought is too much from IN on Wednesday, August 7, 2024I ordered these sandals in a size 10 (I've worn a 10 in nearly every brand of shoe for about 30 years) and immediately realized that they were too small. Straps were tight and the sandal was too narrow and too short. It's probably actually an 8.5 or 9. It isn't just sized a bit small...it's sized incorrectly. Maybe that's why Sierra is selling it so cheap?
Anyway, I've been trying to process a return so I could exchange for a larger size. Sierra made the entire process so convoluted that I couldn't actually get the exchange worked out. I tried for 3-4 days to get the exchange worked out via their website and email and the system wouldn't process it. Eventually someone emailed me back and said I had "multiple accounts and they needed to be merged to process a return" which is completely crazy. I don't have multiple accounts...my spouse has an existing account and since we both have the same address, Sierra considers that the same and refused to process my exchange. By the time any of this was worked out, the size I needed was gone. Sierra customer service is absolutely terrible and illogical. Fast forward to now, I've attempted to return my too-small sandals for a refund but I'm unsure if it's even happening or if they're giving me the full amount back. At first they tried to offer about half what I paid back and they want me to pay full price for return shipping. If this is how it works out, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. You sell defective products and have slow and ineffective customer service. I'm paying double shipping on a product that I'M NOT EVEN KEEPING OR USING.
Sounds like you're ripping me off unless you can do something, anything to make this right. -
