I liked the fun colors on these socks. I bought a pair of these "Everyday" socks, I wore them three times and got a hole in both. I don't wear smart wool socks every day to make them last longer, only when working outside, hiking or skiing. I have similar smart wool socks that are 7 years old that I've probably worn 100 times, zero holes.
In the past, back when it was Sierra Trading, I had a similar experience and they sent me a replacement, after receiving the item back and reviewing. Sierra customer service sent a generic email saying "We ask that items be inspected for satisfaction immediately upon receipt so they can be returned right away. We have implemented a 40/30 day return policy for items in original condition in order to keep our costs low". The socks were fine when received, until I wore them only three times.
