1.0 out of 5 stars. More trouble than worthReviewed by Slim Kenneth from California on Sunday, September 29, 2024So, I've just purchased this item an although I haven't used it at this point, I may need to be convinced that is is a valued purchase. First, it took an act of congress and a chainsaw just to get into the package which is far too frustrating. That, of course was pure sarcasm and yet true. The packaging used in these products is overkill squared and unnecessary. Next, this item had no sheath and this means that it will remain open until the spring load is worn out so surely there is a locking mechanism? I've searched every inch and although the insert proudly lists all of the functions, there is no mention of a safety lock. There are, what appears to be small tabs at the bottom of both handles but I am unable to move them and so I decided to consult the user instruction but this product also had no instructions. My only alternative was searching for a user manual on line but this too turned out to be futile. There is no model number on the insert and after an exhaustive search, have found no indication that a manual exists. To the manufacturer, the importance in having a safety lock cannot be measured. It not only protects small children from injury but also protects the worker as well. Having a tool that remains in the open position is a distraction. Being open is a pocket or a tool pouch means that it becomes difficult to retrieve when needed or it becomes entangles on other items and this is a problem. Once frustration sets in after getting stuck multiple times, the user may decide to simply yank it out with extra force which could mean a fall from a ladder or worse. Eventually, the liability is too much and the tool is tossed into the garbage. Unless that is how it was manufactured to play out, you should seriously consider these issues. On a positive note, the look and design and colors are nice and the feel is nice as well but only time will tell whether it ends up as usable or scrap metal.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Knife fell apart after a few monthsReviewed by Asc from Colorado on Monday, September 23, 2024The blade and feel is decent for $10 bucks but you get what you pay for. The screws fell out of handle in a month.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Zero Dark setReviewed by Nancy from Washington on Sunday, April 30, 2023If the flashlight worked, I'd give it 5 stars. The headlamp and lantern are great, but the flashlight doesn't work. And yes, I have the batteries installed correctly and even tried brand new batteries. Just doesn't work.
